Welcome Message

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Jjunju International Holdings Ltd. We are proud to share our journey, which is built on a passion for coffee, sustainability, and community.
Since our founding in 2020, we have been committed to producing high-quality coffee while safeguarding the environment and enhancing the lives of those in our supply chain. While coffee has a relatively modest ecological impact, we are dedicated to conserving water, reducing carbon emissions, and preventing deforestation in our operations. Our people especially the farmers who are the backbone of our business are at the heart of everything we do. We strive to improve the health, safety, and professional growth of our employees, advocate for human rights, and support the well-being of local communities. We also aim to empower farmers through education, improving traceability, and increasing the share of responsibly sourced coffee in our supply chain.
We take pride in the trust-based relationships we’ve built with our partners, and we are focused on driving positive change and sustainable growth across the entire coffee value chain.
Thank you for being part of our mission. Together, we are nurturing a legacy of excellence, sustainability, and a brighter future for coffee farming in Uganda.

Our Origin

Jjunju International Holdings Ltd. is a distinguished company that has been actively involved in the coffee industry for over six years, having been officially incorporated in 2020. Our company is dedicated to the comprehensive coffee value chain, encompassing coffee growing, sourcing, milling, processing, trading, and soon exporting of coffee and its related by-products. We are deeply committed to delivering coffee of the highest quality, while simultaneously supporting the coffee farmers of Uganda through significant investments in sustainability programs. By undertaking these endeavours, we aim to safeguard the livelihoods of coffee farmers and secure the future of coffee production within the region.

The company traces its origins back to the founding of Jjunju Coffee Estate (JCE) in 2015, located in Uganda’s Butambala and Mpigi districts. The estate spans 70 acres, with 55 acres dedicated to coffee cultivation, producing over 80 tons of clean coffee annually. This estate serves as the foundation of JIH’s coffee production.

Since its incorporation in 2020, Jjunju International Holdings Ltd. has expanded its operations nationwide, with a hub in Kampala and reach across Uganda’s Central, West Nile, and Eastern regions. The company is dedicated to leveraging Uganda’s diverse coffee-growing areas to produce high-quality beans with distinct flavor profiles.
A key initiative by JIH is the Savings and Credit Cooperative (SACCO), which provides financial services, training, and affordable credit to coffee farmers, fostering economic growth within farming communities.

Headquartered in the bustling city of Kampala, Uganda, our administrative offices function as the heart of our operations. However, the true essence of our passion for coffee comes to life at our main production centres in Butambala and Mpigi District. Surrounded by lush landscapes, these centres serve as the nurturing grounds where the finest coffee beans flourish.

Guided by a passion for quality and sustainability, Jjunju International Holdings Ltd. is committed to producing exceptional coffee and enriching the lives of its farmers. As JIH grows, it aims to become a leading figure in Uganda’s coffee production and exportation. Join us in savoring the richness of Uganda’s coffee heritage.
